Inspired by the timeless beauty of traditional millstones, this sterling silver pendant is supplied with a black leather thong and presented in a John R. Fox Jewellery presentation box.

Many years ago I came across a number of old millstones leaning quietly against the wall of a disused mill. Their simple proportions and honest craftsmanship stayed with me long afterwards. This pendant captures that same sense of strength, balance and enduring design in a piece of jewellery that is both distinctive and easy to wear.

The pendant is decorated with large display hallmarks from the Edinburgh Assay Office, making the hallmarking an important part of the design.
