Most of the repairs I’m asked to undertake are pieces I originally made or supplied. But there’s no reason to stop there.
I’m very happy to look at jewellery made elsewhere too — whether it needs restoring, remodelling, repairing, or simply a fresh look.
Sometimes the answer is a straightforward repair. Sometimes an old or damaged piece can become the starting point for something completely new.
From one brooch to two new pieces
In this case, three diamonds from an existing brooch were given a new life.
The original brooch was no longer being worn, so it's stones were reused to create a new pendant and a pair of earrings — transforming one piece of jewellery into two pieces that could be worn and enjoyed again.
A repair that became something more
A Chubby bangle was accidentally damaged and the centre stone was lost.
A matching Chubby brooch, which was no longer being worn, provided the answer. Its centre stone was used to restore the bangle, while the two remaining stones were made into a pair of Chubby ear studs.
One unworn piece solved a repair and created something new at the same time.

The easiest way is simply to get in touch.
A few clear photographs are usually enough for me to make an initial assessment. If possible, include the front, back and side of the piece, together with a close-up of any damaged area.
Tell me what has happened — or what you would like changed — and I’ll let you know what I think is possible.

There is no obligation, and there is no need to send the jewellery anywhere until we have discussed the options and agreed what makes sense.
